Psychic attack is something I have read about from time to time in my years of spiritual studies. I’ve even studied spirit release work, spell and curse removal, and the like in my energy studies. However, it wasn’t until recently that I experienced it first-handedly, in such a clear, obvious way.
Psychic attack is when a person or a group directs negative energies at you. This is a simple explanation because I like to demystify the metaphysical world for you. I tend not to use any fancy or technical language to explain things.
I never really expected it to be directed at me. In fact, part of me thought the concept of it was pretty paranoid. I discounted it internally whenever I saw it mentioned in the past. Psychic attack can bring to mind images from scary paranormal Hollywood movies–which is not where my mind would like to focus.
So, I put it all out of my mind in my day-to-day life, including when it came to working with clients. I thought if I just shielded myself and did my usual spiritual hygiene that I would be okay.
I frequently work with Archangel Michael who is the bouncer of the spiritual realms. He’s one of my major spiritual guides and helpers. I have him protect me every day. In fact, I asked him and his Band of Mercy (a group of his angels) to keep me safe. I thought that if I did my spiritual housecleaning that I would be immune to any psychic attacks.
But, recently, I became really fatigued. I physically felt “beat up.” I have been working hard for a while, so I saw it as a sign that I needed to rest and take better care of myself. More sleep helped initially. I started to get really worried since I have a history of chronic fatigue syndrome (I’m recovered). Sometimes, if we are busy or not taking care of ourselves, we can attract illness, but I forgot that one can be vulnerable energetically to psychic attack too with similar conditions.
The things that usually helped me such as yoga, meditation, exercise, and resting were not helping me to feel better. I called on the angels for help and they sent me a few intuitive healers to help me sort out my energies. The healers fixed my energy field, undoing the dings and dents from negativity sent my way. They closed off the energy drains. I feel more fortified and more peaceful now.
Because I had been low energy for a while with some stress and anxiety this past year, I had not been 100 percent with my self-care. I must have been energetically vulnerable. I’m not blaming myself–just working to learn the lessons so that I don’t attract this negativity again.
I also tapped into my own energy. One night prior to going to bed, I set the intention to travel astrally (with angelic protection) to the source or origin of the psychic attack. In my sleep travels, I saw a person who lit a candle and cast a spell in my direction. It was not positive. It was not a one-time thing either. It was dark witchcraft sent my way. (By the way, I have no problems with people who follow a positive witchcraft or Wiccan path. Not everyone works in the light with spiritual practices.)
This information from my astral travels eally shocked me. I woke up the next day to ask the angels about these spells being sent my way. The angels said it had to do with me shining my light. They said that sometimes others can get jealous or competitive when one shines his or her light.
I personally couldn’t believe anyone could be jealous of me. I’m just a simple girl with simple dreams. I also don’t believe in competition myself. I truly believe that there is enough–actually, more than enough to go around in the Universe for all.
I also don’t like to focus on or even believe that there are some in the world who don’t want people to shine their light. The light is needed right now. I feel that by writing about these things, it exposes the darkness for what it is–simply fear. The darkness is fear. I’m working towards having compassion for those with fear-based thoughts and who choose to send negativity to me and others. Love always wins out. Doreen Virtue recently wrote on Twitter that if you encounter someone challenging, just love the hell out of them.
So, love it is! I’m sending love to all involved.
I discovered some things that were helpful in clearing and recovering from a psychic attack. I’ll share them here:
1. Go outside in nature. Ask the angels to clear your energy field. Intend that the sunshine (the light) cleanses you of any negativity. Breathe in fresh air.
2. Enlist help from a healer. Having another person do an assessment of your energy helps. I myself do energy work and am rather intuitive, but I can’t catch everything that needs work. It’s nice to receive energy work from others too–it’s a great way to receive (healers aren’t always good at this lesson as we like to give, give, and give).
3. Take sea salt baths. The salt clears your energy field. Of course, use your judgment about the amount of salt (I use a handful or less) and the temperature of the water (blood pressure issues and pregnancy are contraindicated for hot baths).
4. Say prayers and do affirmations. The negative energies seem to be allergic to positivity. It’s similar to when you’re at a party, all cheerful and positive and “the downer” type of people will stay a good distance away from you. Actually, I find that this is true not just at parties. I had not done my affirmations in a long time. I won’t forget again I don’t think.
5. Work with Archangel Michael to shield, protect, and clear your energies. If you feel something is “off,” or not right, just call on him. My mistake was that at first, I tried to fix myself on my own. But, eventually, I called on him, along with every positive divine helper that I could think of to help me. Help came in the way of books, articles, and healer friends helping me.
6. Rest and recover. Take some time for you to get rested and to relax. Take a nap. Do a guided meditation CD. Read a positive book.
7. Don’t blame yourself. Sometimes, we unconsciously allow negativity to come into our lives to teach us something. Don’t beat yourself up. Just learn from it.
8. Call it out! The darkness or bad vibes doesn’t like to be called out. The more we talk about how to shift these energies, the better. The light will prevail more and more. I’m reminded of the scene from the movie, “Dogma” in which one of the characters uses an air freshner spray can to get rid of the poop demon. By focusing on love and light, it ushers out the negativity much like that poop demon eliminator spray.
9. Don’t feel like you’re going crazy. If energies are “off” or things get weird, don’t wait around trying to figure it out yourself. Call on the big guns to clear it for you. The angels and Archangel Michael do a much better job than we ever could. I manifested some weird and wild stuff being thrown at me, but I refused to get scared. I called on the angels for spiritual protection.
10. Vitamin L. One of my healer friends uses this term in working with her nutrition clients. She calls LOVE Vitamin L. Love rocks and it is the healing force or glue of the Universe. Give love to yourself and others. Radiate love to the sender of the negativity. Come from your heart space. The world needs LOVE right now. Love really is all there is–all else is an illusion of the ego.
I hope that these tips are useful or at least interesting to you. Believe me, I can’t believe that I’m writing this blog post. As mentioned, I never thought these things existed or would happen to me. I felt guided to share this information with you. It’s part of calling out the dark energies. I also like to be very honest and real about my life in hopes of helping you to avoid this type of situation.
I don’t mean to sound alarmist or paranoid in writing this post. I ask that you only take what resonates with you and lovingly toss aside the rest–which is what I always say to clients who come to me for readings.
May the light prevail!
Blessings of love and light,
Lisa
