Stop Dreaming and Start Achieving!

Every day, I read a chapter from James Arthur Ray’s Science of Success book.  It helps me to start my day on a good note.  Yes, I’ve read it multiple times, but I feel this helps to program my mind in a very positive way, edging out the negative messages and programming of the past.

Today, I was struck by a quote that always speaks to my heart.  It basically says that the difference between dreamers and achievers is action.  Action helps us to accomplish our goals.  James talks about how goals are just parts of our greater vision.  And, if you have a purpose, it’s much easier to be inspired to take action on the goals.  He encourages you to have a big vision that excites you every day.

I took a weekend class with James Arthur Ray in January 2008.  It was the Harmonic Wealth® Weekend.  I loved this class.  It was an intense, but fun immersion into the success principles.  Hubby came with me and we continue to be blessed by practicing the principles we were taught.  It was an eye-opener for sure. (So, now you know why I have James’ books for sale in my sidebar–I’m not just a big fan, I practice what he writes about).

Some people do not resonate with such a cheerleader-like teacher, but that is okay.  His work is not for everyone.  James challenges you to really heal your past patterns and old programming.  The exercises we did in his class were simple, but had very profound results.  I continue to feel the healing effects of doing this work.

The most interesting thing for me has been how all the great people in history believed in or knew about the success principles.  I’ve read many of the classic success books (again, see my sidebar for the books I recommend–now you know why).  Reading the modern books about law of attraction, success, or abundance, it is fun to see the influence that the early works had on these newer authors.  But, the concepts are not new.  They’ve been around since ancient times and recycled through the ages.

I’ve read some books by different yoga teachers, Buddhist teachers, and English translations of ancient esoteric texts.  These all contained echoes of the success prinicples.  This just reaffirms my beliefs that this stuff is awesome, but at the same time, it helps me to really think so I can heal myself even more.

Success is different for everyone.  Starting on this journey, a good question to ask yourself is what success means for you?  Success is not about just money or your career.  It also has to do with having loving relationships, vibrant health, happiness, and a spiritual connection.  Another good question to start with is:  What do you want to be, do, or have in life?  These are keys to creating your life.

I enjoy combining the success principles with angelic guidance in my own life and that is how I tend to work with clients.  It brings me great joy to teach others this empowering information!

Enjoy your success!
